Privacy policy

This policy explains what data Nuva AI processes, why, and how you can exercise your rights over it. Nuva AI is software that businesses use to serve their customers on WhatsApp.
Who processes the data
Each business that uses Nuva AI decides what information it asks its customers for and why; it is the controller of that data. Nuva AI acts as a processor: it processes the data on the business's behalf and only to provide the service.
Nuva AI processes the data of the people who manage a business in Nuva AI (their dashboard account) to give them access to the service.
What data we process
From customers who write to a business's WhatsApp: phone number, WhatsApp profile name, the content of messages and files they send, and the details of the appointments they book (service, professional, date and time).
From dashboard users: name, email address and the settings they enter for their business.
What we use it for
To reply to the messages a business's WhatsApp receives, check its calendar, book, confirm or change appointments, and let the business's team continue the conversation.
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising.
Who it is shared with
Meta Platforms (WhatsApp Business), through which messages are sent and received.
Artificial intelligence providers that generate the assistant's replies from the conversation.
The hosting provider where the service runs, and Google Calendar when the business chooses to connect it.
Each provider receives only what its role requires.
How long it is kept
Data is kept while the business uses Nuva AI or until its deletion is requested. When a business leaves the service, its data and its customers' data are deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data. If you are a customer of a business, write to that business on the same WhatsApp; the business forwards the request to us. The steps are on the data deletion page.
